| Ford Philippines invests for exports program |

MANILA - Ford Motor Co Phils Inc (FMCPI), a subsidiary of the American car giant, has invested an additional P700 million (US$13.5 million) to support its exports program of completely built-up units for the Assocation of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) region. In a speech at its export launch for the company's sport utility vehicle, the Escape, FMCPI president Henry Co said the Escape will be exported to Thailand and Indonesia under the ASEAN Industrial Cooperation scheme. |
