Shandong International Transportation Corp (SITC) will resume regular calls at Moji Port on Sept. 20 for the first time in about a year by its western Japan-Dalian containership service. After the addition of the northern Kyushu port, the service, offered with the 672-TEU Jin Man Yang, will rotate Moji (Fri), Dalian (Sun-Sun), Hakata (Tue-Tue), Osaka (Wed-Wed), Kobe (Thu-Thu), Moji (Fri).
Besides the western Japan service, SITC is currently operating a service between Dalian and eastern Japan, called the Group A service. Both the western and Group A services are being offered on a weekly basis. In addition to these services, the western Japan service is swapping slots with China Shipping (Group)'s Kanto service which rotates Dalian, Yokohama, Tokyo, Nagoya, Xingang, Dalian. Thus, SITC is providing containership services between Dalian and Japan on three loops (two eastern Japan loops and one western Japan loop). For Moji Port, the SITC service is the fourth Dalian service to make regular calls.
